The 3200K vs 5600K Cinema Lighting Standard
In film production, all continuous lighting fixtures (HMI, tungsten, bi-color LEDs like Aputure and ARRI SkyPanels) are calibrated around two universal reference standards:
- 3200 K (Tungsten / Type B film): Warm incandescent spectrum.
- 5600 K (Daylight / Type D film): Crisp direct sunlight spectrum.
